Eric Griessbach

I’m interested in disentangling learning strategies for complex motor behavior but also in optimizing a learning protocol for learning these skills. To do so, my aim is to combine the research of motor learning with an applied focus and research with a computational focus.


I received both a BA and my MA degree from the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) in Sports Science. Before starting my PhD, I worked on biomechanical aspects of walking with unexpected perturbations under Dr. Roy Müller. I’m currently in the final phases of my PhD under Prof. Dr. Rouwen Cañal-Bruland where I study the influence of motor behavior on decision-making during walking.
